The wood is a close relationship between IKUTA, our history and products. The historical name of the house “Toya Fujikura” is written in the late Edo period, our works were proved and chosen by them. IKUTA is founded in 1870 afterwards we started to open a joiner. In 1915, a factory production that was woodworking tool has begun, called IKUTA Woodworking Shop. We did mainly expanding the sericulture industry, which was very active in this era in the Owari area in Aichi. Our story starts a flooring production, Japanese oak and beech floorings since in 1958. As follows our faith “Make fabulous quality floorings, then our value will be deserved.” Thanks to Tokyo midtown, after they were attracted by IKUTA’s flooring, our excellent wood floorings and the other finest products got popular, even much more than before.
